NOW ON TO BACHELOR NUMBER FOUR, WHOM MY FRIENDS AND I AFFECTIONATELY CALL “SHADY”. OR “SHADYHARA”. Most of the time I was calling him Shady to the point where I nearly forgot his actual name. Spoiler-free impressions: REJET WHYkldfjslkghsdf omg I spent so much of my time wailing when I played Sakyou’s Ken route. @_______@; Everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong and it was just a one-way train to despair. The Kimi route made up for that in spades, though, and everything ended well. While this route didn’t feel as romantic to me as the others I’ve played so far, it was still sweet and I liked how Sakyou and Kayo got along with each other. The development of their relationship made sense to me and it was pretty satisfying for a revenge story. When I first heard that Hoshi would be voicing Sakyou, I was a bit skeptical but now I’m really glad that it was him. He does a great job balancing all the different sides of Sakyou that pop up throughout his route. The CGs on this route are some of the prettiest in the game! Sakyou is so gorgeous himself, I guess it makes sense for his CGs to be really pretty, too. *_* This route was a real rollercoaster as far as emotions go, but I enjoyed it! Just wish it’d had some more cute romantic moments, too. IN HONOR OF THE LORD OF DARKNESS’ BIRTHDAY (even though I’m late shoosh) I WILL PUT SOME EXTRA LOVE INTO THIS POST. ♥ Spoilers and spoiler CGs ahead! In the early stages of the Edo period, Kayo lives with her father in a food & tea house. One day, she was asked by the Princess of Sunpu Castellan for an odd favor. Because they are splitting images of each other, she was asked to take her place in a marriage promenade… Bewildered, but with her mind set, Kayo departs on a journey from Tokaido region with six samurai for bodyguards on a marriage promenade to Edo, Hakone, Mishima, up till the destination in Sunpu. On the way towards Edo, she becomes caught up in youkai with destructive abilities, as well as the ‘Sword Retrieving Imperial Match’ that concerns the legendary five great swords, which is really a cover for a sickening ritual being performed… Through the crisscrossing and intertwining of paths, finally the road splits into two: One, living with the sword in the path of war.
